LEOPARD ROCK BRAAI

Leopard Rock is one of the main historical sites on Thaba Bolayi Reserve with beautiful view as you sit on top of a granite outcrop high above the surrounding bushveld.

This is truly a magical experience. Nothing can describe the feeling of sitting around the bonfire as the sun sets beneath the horizon turning the sky orange, followed by the appearance of a starry night sky above as you sit at the table enjoying a traditional South-African braai dinner.

Thaba Bolayi Reserve is one of the areas with the highest density of Baobab trees per hectare in the world. On this adventure we take a drive in a open safari vehicle to learn and experience everything there is to know about these magnificent trees.

Baobab trees are the oldest living organisms in the bushveld, reaching thousands of years old, and to be able to experience their magic in person is breathtaking.

On this drive we will show you the fruits from a Baobab tree and taste the natural powder inside. For an added bonus we have created a "Baobab coffee" which we will enjoy under one of the largest trees on the reserve.

BAOBAB BUSH DRIVE

RIVERBED BRAAI

Come and join us for a traditional South-African braai in the heart of the untamed bushveld.

You will be taken on a nature drive in our open safari vehicle and stop at one of the large seasonal riverbeds on the reserve for a braai.

The braai happens in one of our large dry riverbeds, surrounded by nature where one can be at total peace. There are many geological findings and beautiful rocks to discover if you want to explore a bit. The dry riverbed is also perfect for children to play if you want to make it a family occasion.

The bushveld braais can also be arranged underneath one of our massive Baobab trees, please contact us for arrangements.
